Responsible for coordinating and providing high quality multidisciplinary health services, including parenteral therapy for patients in the Region/Program consistent with Agency philosophy, policy and Standards of Nursing Practice in relation to Agency goals and objectives. Works under general direction.
Licensure: License and current registration to practice as a registered professional nurse in New York State required. Valid driver's license may be required, as determined by operational/regional needs. Certified IV therapist preferred.Education: Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred. Successful completion of VNS Home Care IV Team course preferred.Experience: Proficiency in venous access and related infusion therapy skills required. Bilingual skills may be required as determined by operational needs. Pediatric experience preferred.
