Supports and validates network contracting and unit cost management activities for provider services via financial pricing models, analysis, and reporting. Conducts unit cost and contract valuation analysis in support of network contracting negotiations and unit cost management strategies. Also include manages unit cost budgets, target setting, performance and profitability reporting. Partners with the Managed Care Contracting leadership. Works under general supervision.
Education:Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related discipline required. Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Public Administration or related field preferred.
Experience: Minimum five years of progressive experience in analytical experience in financial analysis, health care pricing, network management, health care economics or related discipline with a minimum of one year experience working with Value-Based Program models required. Demonstrated experience with provider payment methodologies and healthcare products required. Demonstrated ability to create and use financial modeling tools, spreadsheets, and information acquisition tools required. Some experience with provider payment methodologies and healthcare products Proficient with personal computers, including Microsoft Windows Excel, Word, Access, Visio, Power Point required.
