Quality Analyst

Provides a broad range of technical/administrative support and analysis for the data entry, maintenance, security and integrity of databases and information related to HEDIS, Quality Improvement (QI) Initiatives and grievances and appeals. Develops reports, workflows, processes and procedures for efficient and effective operations. Monitors, analyzes and communicates aggregate and regional metrics against benchmarks where applicable for VNSNY CHOICE program QI initiatives. Works under general direction.

Licensure: Valid driver's license or NYS Non-Driver photo ID card, may be required as determined by operational/regional needs.
Education: Bachelor&rsquot;s Degree in Business Administration or related discipline, or equivalent work experience required.
Experience: Minimum three years progressive administrative, business operations, or office experience, preferably in a managed care or health care setting, required. Advanced personal computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Access required. Solid analytical skills in analyzing, visualizing and interpreting data, and deriving insights, Proficient in MS Office (Access, Excel, PowerPoint), experience with BI Tools (Business Intelligence tools), proficient in MSSQL, MicroStrategy, and SAS or R preferred, .
