Supervises the daily functions of the clinical utilization management staff to ensure efficient and effective operations. Works under general supervision.
Licensure: Current license and registration to practice as a Registered Nurse, Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, or Social Worker in New York State required.
Certification: Care Management or Case Management certification required within one year of job entry date.
Education: Bachelors degree in health related field required. Masters degree preferred.
Experience: Minimum four years of clinical experience required. Care management experience preferred. Prior supervision of clinical or business staff preferred. Strong interpersonal and computer skills (Word and Excel) required.
