Project manager who will help coordinate and organize various communications activities in support of the goals and objectives of the Enterprise Communications department. Works under general supervision but the perfect candidate will be a self-starter who catches on quickly, is proactive and doesn’t have to be told what to do.
Help manage Enterprise Communications projects in development of internal communications for Enterprise-wide staff that involves monitoring of timelines; working with writers/producers to ensure projects are completed on time; and be able to manage and send out agency-wide communications.
Coordinate and compile bi-weekly status report.
Assists in the development/monitoring of department budget including the processing and reconciliation of vendor contracts, purchase orders, requisitions and invoicing through the Workday and contract software systems.
Maintain Excel spreadsheets based on budgeting and development of monthly accrual for accounting.
Assist in the coordination of employee events including interface with PR company, and Zoom producers.
Manage administration of VNSNY Sharepoint intranet site which means maintaining home page and administration of users for various segments of the organization.
Be able to juggle multiple projects and ability to prioritize.
Has excellent verbal and emailing communication skills and proactively follows up, when needed, in a timely manner.
Education: Bachelor’s degree.
Experience: 3 to 5 year’s experience where project management skills were utilized
Effective oral, written communication and interpersonal skills required in addition to strong quantitative ability.
Advanced personal computer and texting skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint required.
Experience with Wordpress, Sharepoint, and texting applications a plus.
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment required.
Good natured, positive can-do attitude, flexible, open to new ideas, works well with others
